About The Affiliate Council

The Affiliate Council promotes business relationships and services of OABR Affiliates to OABR REALTOR® members, actively solicits OABR Affiliate membership, and promotes ethical business practices of OABR Affiliate members. The Council is involved with many things including  the “Affiliate Advocate” column in FOCUS and sponsoring the OABR orientation coffee breaks.

The Affiliate Council also sponsors special events for the OABR REALTOR® members including the Fall Turkey Shoot Bowling, Toys for Tots and the OABR golf outing. They also assist the Member Services Forum in other membership events, as requested by the Forum.

Just a reminder, Affiliate members of the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS® provide services and support to the real estate industry. Title companies, lenders, property and termite inspectors and insurance companies are just a few of the affiliated businesses. Not all industry related services are Affiliates. Affiliates have chosen to support the REALTORS® by joining the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS®.
